Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 25, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how PainRadar LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA ("PainRadar", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the PainRadar service (the "Service"). It applies both to users of the Service ("you") and, separately, to individuals whose publicly posted content the Service processes as part of its market-research analysis (see Section 4).
This Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
2. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an Account, we collect your name, email address, and, if you sign in with Google, the profile information Google provides (name, email, avatar).
Content you provide. Topic names, keywords, notes, and other material you submit to or create within the Service ("Your Content"), as defined in our Terms of Service.
Billing information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your payment card details directly. We do not store full card numbers ourselves — we retain only subscription status, plan tier, and billing metadata Stripe provides to us.
Usage data. Log data, device and browser information, IP address, and interactions with the Service, collected automatically for security, debugging, and product-improvement purposes.
Communications. If you email us at contact@painradar.ai or otherwise contact us, we retain that correspondence.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Service, including authenticating your Account;
- Process payments and manage subscriptions;
- Run the scans, AI analysis, and gap-analysis features you request;
- Send transactional email (e.g. sign-in links, password resets, scan-completion notifications) via our email provider, Resend;
- Respond to support requests sent to contact@painradar.ai;
- Monitor, debug, and improve the Service's reliability and performance;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use Your Content to train AI models for any purpose other than generating Output for you.
4. Third-Party Content We Process
The Service scans and analyzes content that is publicly posted on third-party platforms (currently Reddit, X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Google Search) to identify customer pain points on your behalf. That content may include personal information about individuals who are not PainRadar users and have no relationship with us ("Third-Party Content").
We process Third-Party Content on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing market-research analytics, limited to what is necessary for that purpose. Where our Output displays excerpts of Third-Party Content, we do not display the original author's name or a link back to the source post, by design — see our Terms of Service, Section 9, for how we handle removal requests from individuals identifiable in Third-Party Content.
5. How We Share Information
We share information with:
- Service providers who process it on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication), Anthropic (AI analysis of Your Content and Third-Party Content), Apify (collecting Third-Party Content from third-party platforms), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Upstash (caching and rate-limiting infrastructure), and our hosting provider.
- Legal and safety purposes, where we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, enforce our Terms of Service, or protect the rights, property, or safety of PainRadar, our users, or others.
- Business transfers, if PainRadar is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We do not share your Account information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention
We retain Account information and Your Content for as long as your Account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you close your Account, we make Your Content available for export for thirty (30) days, after which we delete it, subject to residual copies in backups that are purged on a rolling schedule.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@painradar.ai. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
If you are an individual who is not a PainRadar user but whose content was processed as Third-Party Content, you may also contact contact@painradar.ai to request removal — see Section 4 above and Section 9 of our Terms of Service.
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. International Data Transfers
PainRadar is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to the extent required by applicable law.
If your organization requires a signed Data Processing Addendum to cover our processing of personal data on your behalf as a business customer, one is available at that link or on request at contact@painradar.ai.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including encryption in transit and access controls on our database and infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact contact@painradar.ai and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will provide notice by email or through the Service before they take effect. The "Effective date" at the top of this Policy reflects the most recent revision.
